According to Moscow administration, testing of mobile emergency application “112 Moscow” will begin in 2017. It is expected that mobile service will be able to independently determine location, process images and videos from incidents and adapt for people with disabilities.

The app will be connected with fire service, police, ambulance and Mosgaz, the city’s gas authority. For those who is not able to make a choice, there is a button “I do not know who to call”. In order to contact emergency services, it should be passed primary authorization by filling in profile and entering contact information.

Service “112 Moscow” will be especially useful for people with hearing and speech impairment, as it will replace usual conversation with operator. For visually impaired  there will be possibility to increase font size in mobile application.
